#FridayReads
Forgive the delay; last week’s book launch was wonderful, but it also kept me very busy!
In these weekly #FridayReads posts, I hope to highlight some of the amazing tweets, Instagram entries, and even Facebook messages that share people’s current reads. As some of you already know, I started the hashtag #FridayReads on Twitter back in 2009, after a car accident left me with a broken right leg that necessitated a few weeks of bed rest. Twitter was in its heyday (yes, children, it had one, once) and many people began chiming in with their recent books.
If I spend too much time right now on the history of #FridayReads, I’ll delay today’s post, and, as I know from long experience, that will be a slippery slope down to leaving this blog a complete wasteland. I don’t want to do that, so I’m going to to share a few delightful links from Friday, May 19th’s #FridayReads on Twitter. Next time I’ll continue the story of how #FridayReads grew and shrunk and grew again, and how it “works” (big clue: anyone, anywhere, anytime can use it, however they like).
